Some histone deacetylase (HDAC) isoforms contribute to ischaemia/reperfusion (IR) injury (IRI). Here, we examined whether LP342, the lead candidate of a new generation of hydrazide-based HDAC inhibitors (HDACi), decreases hepatic IRI.
