Antibody validation means that the experimental proof that an antibody is suitable for its intended purpose (Weller 2018). You can submit antibody validation data from an experiment, an existing paper, or a publicly available database.
Report antibody issues such as non-specific from an experiment, an existing paper, or a publicly available database.
Report that an antibody is no longer available for purchase.
Report the STR (short tandem repeat) profiling form including method, results, and the date that the STR profiling was performed. The STR profiling performed by a company or a core facility with cell line authentication service is preferred. Definition about STR can be found in these published document (Almeida JL et al. PLoS Biol. 2016; ANSI/ATCC ASN-0002-2011)
Report cell line issues from an experiment, an existing paper, or a publicly available database.
Report the information about a contaminated cell line.
Report that a cell line is misidentified such as mislabeling, or other laboratory errors. Misidentification means that the cell line no longer corresponds to the original donor and may come from an entirely different species, tissue or disease (definition from National Library of Medicine).
Report that a cell line is misclassified, i.e., fibroblasts cell lines are misclassified as cancer cell lines.
You can submit tool validation data from an experiment, an existing paper, or a publicly available database.
Report tool issues from an experiment, an existing paper, or a publicly available database.
Report that a tool is no longer in service.
PMID is the unique identifier number used in PubMed for each article. You can look them up by typing the article title into PubMed. It has a prefix “PMID:”, for example, “PMID:26393351”. Please note that PMID and PMCID are not the same thing. We only accept PMID.
A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is a unique and persistent identifier for the digital object with which it is associated. DOIs are commonly assigned to scientific articles in their electronic form, for example: “DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0136206”.
The address of a web page, for example, “https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26393351/”.
