Vascular endothelial cells synthesize and release vasodilators such as nitric oxide (NO) and epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs). NO is known to inhibit EET-induced smooth muscle hyperpolarization and relaxation. This study investigates the underlying mechanism of this inhibition.
