Hyperoxia-induced lung injury is one of the most common and frequent diseases in premature infants and may develop into bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). Fucoidan, extracted from brown seaweed and brown algae, has anti-apoptosis, antioxidative and anti-fibrosis effects.
