About PRECISE-TBI toolkit

Welcome to the PRECISE-TBI toolbox!

The PRECISE-TBI toolbox is a web-based platform with a collection of resources to enhance rigor, reproducibility, and transparency in preclinical TBI research for the PRECISE-TBI project and the preclinical traumatic brain injury community as a whole. These resources or tools are hosted both within and outside this platform to increase collaboration, enhance knowledge, and ultimately accelerate preclinical TBI research to improve clinical outcomes. These tools are listed below.

Internal PRECISE-TBI toolbox/resources

• PRECISE-TBI model catalog
  
• The model catalog provides the traumatic brain injury (TBI) community with a centralized queryable online resource specific to preclinical TBI models manuscript metadata. More information about the model catalog can be found here.

• PRECISE-TBI bibliography
  

• The PRECISE-TBI bibliography of preclinical papers is a curated list of papers that will be included in the PRECISE-TBI preclinical model catalog. Citations in the bibliography will be added to the model catalog in batches of 200 papers to ensure the proper curation of all metadata in the catalog.

  
  

  
  

• Surveys

• PRECISE-TBI Preclinical Models Infomation Survey - This survey will give the PRECISE-TBI project administration a better understanding of how model sensors are used for TBI preclinical models.
• PRECISE-TBI Preclinical Model Sensor Survey - This survey will give the PRECISE-TBI project administration a better understanding of preclinical TBI models and information to optimize the preclinical TBI model catalog.

• Vendors for Preclinical TBI Devices
  

•  In an effort to increase reproducibility in preclinical TBI models, we are creating an ongoing list of preclinical devices (and associated vendors).

•  Lists of curated preclinical TBI protocols
• The curated preclinical TBI protocols are dynamic centralized lists of preclinical protocols that the PRECISE-TBI team has reviewed. These lists consist of protocols assembled from (1) peer-reviewed literature and (2) created and standardized within Protocols.io.

External PRECISE-TBI toolkit tools/resources

• Open Data Commons for Traumatic Brain Injury (ODC-TBI)
• ODC-TBI is a community platform to share and publish data. Published data will receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to permanently and stably identify data.
