Older adults with diabetes mellitus are susceptible to sarcopenia. Diffusion tensor imaging studies have also shown that patients with diabetes have altered white matter integrity. However, the relationship between these structural changes in white matter and sarcopenia remains poorly understood.

A basic screening measure for depression in older adults. They have a FREE iPhone APP and a FREE ANDROID APP that allows you to do the 15-item GDS on your phone and automatically calculate the results. They provide no interpretation of results, but patients with scores higher than 5 should be interviewed carefully.
