Integrated Animals is a virtual database currently indexing available animal strains and mutants from: AGSC (Ambystoma), BCBC (mice), BDSC (flies), European Xenopus Resource Center (frog), The National Xenopus Resource (frog), Xenopus Express (frog), CWRU Cystic Fibrosis Mouse Models (mice), DGGR (flies), FlyBase (flies), IMSR (mice), MGI (mice), MMRRC (mice), NSRRC (pig), RGD (rats), Sperm Stem Cell Libraries for Biological Research (rats), Tetrahymena Stock Center (Tetrahymena), WormBase (worms), XGSC (Xiphophorus), ZFIN (zebrafish), and ZIRC (zebrafish). Note, the IMSR data is linked, but users may need to re-execute the search if the top mouse is not returned properly.
Note: BCBC is no longer in service, so the links may not be functional.

Availability: available
References:
Synonyms: lpr-1(cs207) I.
Alternate IDs: WB-STRAIN:UP2436, CGC_UP2436

  • RRID:WB-STRAIN:WBStrain00035422

http://www.wormbase.org/db/get?name=WBStrain00035422

Source Database: WormBase (WB)
Genetic Background:
Affected Genes: WBGene00002992(lin-3)|WBGene00006843(unc-119)
Genomic Alteration: WBGene00002992(lin-3), WBGene00006843(unc-119)
Availability: available
References:
Synonyms: csSi3 [lin-3::lin-3S + unc-119(+)] II; lin-3(n1059) IV/nT1[qIs51] (IV;V)
Alternate IDs: WB-STRAIN:UP2813, CGC_UP2813
Notes: lin-3(-) heterozygous balanced strain containing single copy MOS-mediated insertion of csSi1 transgene encoding lin-3S (short) splice isoform, expressed under control of the lin-3 promoter. The transgene rescues lethal and Vulvaless phenotypes (but not sterility) of lin-3 mutants, which can be recognized by absence of myo-2::GFP from the nT1 balancer. Pick GFP+ to maintain.

  • RRID:WB-STRAIN:WBStrain00035425

    This resource has 1+ mentions.

http://www.wormbase.org/db/get?name=WBStrain00035425

Source Database: WormBase (WB)
Genetic Background:
Affected Genes: WBGene00012261(lpr-3)
Genomic Alteration: WBGene00012261(lpr-3)
Availability: available
References:
Synonyms: lpr-3(cs231) X; csEx436.
Alternate IDs: WB-STRAIN:UP3542, CGC_UP3542
Notes: csEx436 [lpr-3 (fosmid WRM619dE09) + myo-2p::mCherry]. Pick mCherry+ animals to maintain. cs231 is a Crispr/Cas9-induced null allele of lpr-3: a 13 nucleotide deletion in exon 1 results in frameshift. Homozygous mutants are embryonic lethal, but are rescued by csEx436 containing lpr-3(+) fosmid WRM619dE09. NOTE: lpr-3(cs231) should be considered the canonical allele as ok2351 also perturbs expression of adjacent gene lpr-6. Reference: Forman-Rubinsky R, Cohen JD and Sundaram MV. Genetics. 2017 Oct;207(2):625-642.

Alternate IDs: WB-STRAIN:UP2815, CGC_UP2815
Notes: lin-3(-) heterozygous balanced strain containing single copy MOS-mediated insertion of csSi1 transgene encoding lin-3XL (extra long) splice isoform, expressed under control of the lin-3 promoter. The transgene partially rescues lethality (but not Vulvaless or sterile phenotypes) of lin-3 mutants, which can be recognized by absence of myo-2::GFP from the nT1 balancer. Pick GFP+ to maintain.

Can't find your Organism?

We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific organism, it's easier to enter an RRID or a Catalog Number to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.

If you still could not find your organism in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Organisms identifiers are registered through multiple sources depending on the species:
