Offered services include giving access to quality-controlled pluripotent stem cells and stem cell-derivatives prepared using standardized approaches; genome editing services for the generation of custom-designed cell lines; training sessions and informal interactions between scientists from multiple laboratories working on different stem cell models. Some reagents commonly used in stem cell labs, as mTeSR1 media and irradiated mouse embryonic fibroblasts, are also available at discounted prices for our users. We are connected to Stem Cell COREdinates(link is external and opens in a new window), a consortium of pluripotent stem cell-focused core facilities, which allows us to take advantage of the sharing of the most updated and efficient protocols, expertise, and reagents.

Real-time live-cell imaging system designed for long-term time-lapse dynamic observation of living cells, including intracellular calcium flux recording, tumor spheroid, organoid 3D growth tracking, cell migration, apoptosis and pharmacodynamic screening. Equipped with multi-channel fluorescence excitation modules, the system supports continuous non-invasive real-time monitoring under physiological culture environment, used in stem cell research, oncology, cardiovascular pharmacology and cell biology experiments.
Core offers solar cell fabrication, characterization and testing capabilities. Additional services include making modules and performing reliability testing. Core is designed with industrial compatibility in mind. Although fabrication on smaller substrates or even pieces is possible, the native substrate form factor is currently 156 mm silicon. New equipment is being selected to maintain compatibility with evolving solar manufacturing sizes (e.g., M12 = 295 mm diagonal). Supported technology thrusts reinforce industry relevance. Considering solely silicon technology, architectures researched include Al BSF, PERC, SHJ and various tandems, predominantly silicon-based with a perovskite top cell.
Software R annotation package for Illumina's EPIC v2.0 methylation arrays. The version 2 covers more than 935K CpG sites in the human genome hg38. It is an update of the original EPIC v1.0 array (i.e., the 850K methylation array).
Software R package provides functions for estimating mitotic age of tissues from corresponding DNA methylation (DNAm) profile. These functions are epigenetic mitotic clocks, providing separate mitotic age estimates on scales unique to each clock. So each estimate should be interpreted as a relative mitotic age, not an absolute one, except for the epiTOC2 clock which does aim to estimate the total number of stem-cell divisions in a tissue.
iGenSeq platform offers academic researchers and industry tools and services for genomic analysis: medium, high and very high throughput DNA and RNA sequencing, qPCR and ddPCR.
Thermionic field emission high-resolution scanning electron microscope designed to make high-performance imaging and analytics. Minimizes user intervention and lab management demands with its SmartAlign Technology, an auto-aligning optics system. Additionally, Thermo Scientific FLASH Technology automates image fine-tuning, correcting lens centering, stigmators, and final focus. Capabilities include 1-nanometer resolution at 10 mm analytical working distance, overcoming the typical trade-off between working distance and image quality.
