Effect of Malus asiatica Nakai Leaf Flavonoids on the Prevention of Esophageal Cancer in C57BL/6J Mice by Regulating the IL-17 Signaling Pathway.

  • Xiang-Bo Jia‎ et al.
  • OncoTargets and therapy‎
  • 2020‎

The aim of this study was to observe the preventive effect of flavonoids extracted from Malus asiatica Nakai leaves (FMANL) on esophageal cancer in mice, especially the ability of FMANL to regulate the interleukin 17 (IL-17) signaling pathway during this process.

MicroRNA-126 Inhibit Viability of Colorectal Cancer Cell by Repressing mTOR Induced Apoptosis and Autophagy.

  • Li Wei‎ et al.
  • OncoTargets and therapy‎
  • 2020‎

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a fatal disease, and tumor development is a complex cellular event involving a multistep cascade process involving proliferation, invasion, and migration. In recent years, it has been shown that microRNA-126 (miR-126) plays a key role in the tumorigenesis of CRC, but further studies are required to investigate the regulatory mechanisms through which this miRNA affects cell viability, autophagy, and apoptosis in CRC. We aimed to study the effect of miR-126 in gene regulation in CRC HCT116 cells.

Construction and Analysis of a circRNA-Mediated ceRNA Network in Lung Adenocarcinoma.

  • Zhaojun Wang‎ et al.
  • OncoTargets and therapy‎
  • 2021‎

Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a new class of regulatory noncoding RNAs, are involved in gene regulation and may play a role in cancer development. The aim of this study was to identify circRNAs involved in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) using bioinformatics analysis.

KCNH3 Predicts Poor Prognosis and Promotes Progression in Ovarian Cancer.

  • Zhongjun Li‎ et al.
  • OncoTargets and therapy‎
  • 2020‎

Ovarian cancer (OC) is one of the most common causes of cancer-related death among women; accordingly, new biomarkers of OC are urgently needed. Potassium voltage-gated channel sub-family H member 3 (KCNH3) is a voltage-gated potassium channel member involved in cognitive function and diabetes. Here, we aimed to elucidate the role and potential molecular mechanisms of KCNH3 in OC.

KDM5C Expedites Lung Cancer Growth and Metastasis Through Epigenetic Regulation of MicroRNA-133a.

  • Quan Zhang‎ et al.
  • OncoTargets and therapy‎
  • 2021‎

KDM5C, a histone H3K4-specific demethylase, possess various biological functions in development of cancers. However, its relation to the microRNA (miRNA) regulation in lung cancer remains unknown. This study aims to study the regulatory role of KDM5C on modification of miR-133a in the progression of lung cancer.
