Description: TomatEST DB is a collection of tomato EST sequences downloaded from dbEST. Gene indices are created by grouping overlapping EST sequences into clusters. Each cluster corresponds to a unique gene. A cluster can consist in one or multiple contigs. In the case of a cluster of multiple contigs each contig share similarities with the others in the cluster because of i) putative alternative transcription; ii) paralogy; iii) domain sharing.
