Proper Citation: goi2roimapping (RRID:SCR_023820)
Description: Software Python package utilizes spatial, anatomical, microarray expression data from the Allen Institute for Brain Science. This program maps genes of interest (Goi) by their levels of expression to brain regions (Roi). The identified regions that co-express the input Goi can, in turn, be studied further with many experimental modalities. This program can be customized to map gene expression data and identify significant Roi from similar reference expression data in other contexts outside of neuroscience.

Description: Interactive portal for finding and submitting biomedical resources. Resources within SciCrunch have assigned RRIDs which are used to cite resources in scientific manuscripts. SciCrunch Registry, formerly NIF Registry, provides resources catalog. Allows to add new resources. Allows edit existing resources after registration. Curators are tasked with identifying and registering resources, examining data, writing configuration files to index and display data and keeping contents current.
