Description: The Genetics of Learning Disability (GOLD) Study is aimed to identify the genes on the X chromosome that contribute to significant intellectual disability and to lead the way towards greater understanding of the mechanisms by which intellectual disability occurs. Ultimately the aim is to improve the services available to affected families.
