LifeShare emphasizes a person''s decision to be an organ and tissue donor and whenever possible will honor the decision of the individual to donate. It works hard to provide education to the state of Oklahoma about organ, eye and tissue donation. Education is provided to medical professionals who identify and care for potential organ and tissue donors, and recognize donation as continuing to care for the patient and their family. LifeShare strongly supports research and development to improve the quality and availability of organs and tissues for transplantation and the success of human transplantation in general. It is also committed to providing support and comfort to grieving families who have suffered great loss.
