Description: A biomaterial supply resource that acquires, processes, stores, and distributes postmortem brain specimens for brain research. The HBTRC maintains an extensive collection of postmortem human brains from individuals with Huntington's chorea, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological disorders.
