Comments: Discontinued; manufacturer recommendations: IgG; IgG WB: Use at a dilution of 1/2000 if BCIP/NBT is used as the substrate. A starting dilution of 1/5000 of anti-MMP16 is recommended for chemiluminescent substrates. Detects bands of approximately 65 and 63 kDa, plus smaller breakdown products. Treatment of cells with Concanavolin A or the phorbol ester TPA stimulates production of MT3-MMP in some cell types, and the enzyme can be recovered in cell lysates. Not tested in other applications.
