The Wisconsin Tissue Bank handles organ donation, works with organ donors, provides organ donation information and organ transplantation. The Wisconsin Tissue Bank staff provides service to hospitals, Medical Examiners/Coroners and Funeral Directors throughout the state of Wisconsin for the recovery of bone, related soft tissue, veins, skin, and cardiovascular tissue for donation and transplantation. The Wisconsin Tissue Bank is dedicated to the education of health care professionals and the public to promote organ and tissue donation. The Wisconsin Tissue Bank promotes an environment sensitive to the physical, emotional, spiritual, social and economic needs of both those served and those who provide the service.
