Term requests
Additional information about this process is documented in this Google Slides presentation - Terminology workflow in SPARC. Term request should be submitted by 2 methods, listed below.
1. Preferred method -Submit term requests in the SPARC term request sheet. When submitting a request,
Use the first tab, labeled "Requests" to provide your contact information. This information is essential since this is our only contact with the submitter. Please complete the following columns:
- "Requestor" - Provide your name and the name of the SPARC principal investigator.
- "Email" - Provide an email address for all communications about the term
- "Sheet Name"- If a sheet already exists for your group, please provide this sheet name before placing any additional information in the document. If a pre-existing sheet does not exist for your group.
- Right-click on the sheet/tab titled "Template."
- Select "Copy to" and "New Spreadsheet"
- After creating the Spreadsheet, right-click on the sheet/tab and select "Rename."
- Please rename the sheet with a short description used to describe your terms, such as the Principal Investigator's last name. This information (sheet/tab name) should be placed in the "Sheet Name" column of the "Requests" sheet/tab.
- "Date of Request" - Provide the date of term request.
- "Any notes about your request" - Provide any additional information needed to assist us in completing your request.
2. Terms can be submitted directly to InterLex. This method require that you register a new account, here.
