Five days later, progeny of the F1 at the L4 stage carrying the Mos1 substrate array were singled. After a further 5 days of culture, worms of the F3 generation were transferred to fresh plates and 3 days later a single F4 worm that did not carry the Mos1 substrate array was transferred to a fresh plate. These worms were allowed to reproduce to give the F6 generation that was then subject to molecular characterization

To study clk-3; clk-1 doubles place WT worms singly onto plates-the clk doubles will throw no Dpys and their progeny develop extremely slowly (about 3 days to hatch and 10 days for postembryonic development)-they will be sterile when they finally become adults.

Notes: mutagen: EMS; outcrossed: x0; other notes: Made_by: Vancouver KO Group"|"Million Mutation Project strain. This strain was isolated after EMS mutagenesis of VC2010, propagated clonally through F10 to drive mutations to homozygosity, and subjected to whole-genome sequencing. It is homozygous for a large number of mutations determined from sequence data. It may also carry large copy number variations that are not homozygous. Alleles numbered between gk100000 and gk962522 are homozygous; those numbered from gk962523 up should be assumed to be non-homozygous. A graphical representation of these large copy number differences can be seen in the Plot section for each strain on the MMP web site ( URL: genome.sfu.ca/mmp/)."|"This strain was provided by the C. elegans Reverse Genetics Core Facility at the University of British Columbia, which is part of the international C. elegans Gene Knockout Consortium, which should be acknowledged in any publications resulting from its use.

  4. Searching

Here is the search term that is being executed, you can type in anything you want to search for. Some tips to help searching:

    1. Use quotes around phrases you want to match exactly
    2. You can manually AND and OR terms to change how we search between words
    3. You can add "-" to terms to make sure no results return with that term in them (ex. Cerebellum -CA1)
    4. You can add "+" to terms to require they be in the data
    5. Using autocomplete specifies which branch of our semantics you with to search and can help refine your search
  5. Save Your Search

You can save any searches you perform for quick access to later from here.

  6. Query Expansion

We recognized your search term and included synonyms and inferred terms along side your term to help get the data you are looking for.
