"Cells were centrifuged and the cell pel- let (approximately 107 cells) was resuspended in Freund’s adjuvant to immunize each mouse. Booster injections were administered at 3-week intervals. BALB/c mice were immu- nized according to the UCSF MAb protocol. Mice were boosted with cells on Days 14, 42, and 120. Spleens were re- moved on Day 123, and splenocytes were isolated and fused to NS-1 myeloma cells by conventional methods (Dobbs et al. 1988).
To screen rapidly propagating fusion clones, we devel- oped a 96-well cytocentrifuge technique to screen multiple hybridoma supernatants simultaneously."
