British Pharmacological Society strongly recommends publications begin incorporating #RRID

With regard to documenting and ensuring independent reproducibility of immunoblotting and immunohistochemical data, the British Pharmacological Society strongly recommends incorporating #RRID in Antibody Validation process. For checking known issues with selectivity, #RRID “enables reproducibility studies through clear indication of provenance.” 

Although RRID is not currently required by the publication, BPS has been quoted expecting a similar level of individualization to be required by publications in the near future.
