To help our SCI community meet current publishing requirements and future data sharing mandates and to ensure a smooth data sharing experience, ODC-SCI is inviting you to take part in ODC-SCI Data Crunch Week. Join the ODC-SCI community, upload and publish your data (with a DOI), and test the functionality of the portal. You could even win a prize at the same time.
By sharing data from your published or unpublished experiments with ODC-SCI, you will extend your research and gain access to documented datasets from across the SCI research community. All your data will be organized in one space, citable and easily accessible with options for sharing within your lab, SCI community, publishers and funders, and the public. Furthermore, your shared data will promote data reuse and new discoveries. The prize for participating in this campaign is just a bonus to all of these great benefits that ODC-SCI portal offers!

About
Spinal cord injury (SCI) produces a complex syndrome characterized by loss of motor control and mobility; loss of bladder, bowel and sexual function; pathological pain; and loss of autonomy. The multifaceted nature of SCI presents a challenge for the translational pipeline. This problem of SCI complexity can be conceptualized as a big-data issue: the field needs a forum for large-scale data-sharing and application of advanced analytics to catalyze SCI discoveries. Various funders and publishers have recognized this need as well currently implementing data sharing mandates.
To address this challenge the SCI research community is assembling a large database through collaborative and FAIR data sharing. We are a digital infrastructure with the goal to democratize SCI data, allowing researchers to access existing SCI data, contribute their own, and publish with citable DOI. Learn more
