BioDigital Qing is a digital PCR system with automated droplet preparation and reagent formulation, enabling all essential steps of digital PCR—including compartmentalization, thermal cycling, and data acquisition—to be completed on a single instrument. Utilizing nucleic acid quantification technology, it allows for absolute quantification without the need for a standard curve. A large volume of reaction mixture is partitioned or digitized into thousands of small, independent reactions, such that each microchamber contains either one or zero target copies. The original concentration is then calculated using statistical methods based on the number of positive and negative microchambers.
